This is my personal copy of the UnixWare 1.0 Personal Edition
Cartridge Tape Edition. CDROM and floppies other than the boot ones
are not originals. I made these floppies using the command pkgtrans
to be able to install UW 1.0 in a virtual machine.

The tape was copied with the dd command on a running UnixWare system.
The diskettes were made copying uw1.0pe.dd (tape file) on a CDROM,
mount it in /mnt and transferring to diskette using:

        pkgtrans /mnt/uw1.0pe.dd /temp
        pkgtrans -s /temp /dev/fd0135ds18

Command prompts you to choose what package do you want to transfer.

I also made a CDROM under Solaris using the mkisofs command:

        mkisofs -rock -hide-rr-moved /temp > UnixWare1.0 PE.iso

The UnixWare 1.0 PE CDROM has been tested in 86box using the Adaptec
AHA 1540/42 and in VirtualBox using the BusLogic controller. In
86box installs O.K., but I had some problems starting the system, so
I copied the HD created to PCem and runs O.K. but if you use NE2000
as a network interface card, the system hangs.
